How to use this tool
Select a PDF and choose a clockwise rotation. Leave the page field empty to rotate every page, or specify pages such as 1,3-5.
A worked example
Choosing 90° for page 2 turns only that page clockwise. Choosing 180° with an empty page field turns every page upside down.
How it works & what to check
Rotation is added to each selected page’s existing rotation. It changes the saved PDF orientation rather than only changing a viewer setting.
Common questions
Which direction is used?
90°, 180° and 270° are clockwise rotations. A 270° clockwise turn is equivalent to 90° counterclockwise.
Does rotation reduce quality?
This tool changes page rotation metadata; it does not rasterize the contents.
Will the file be overwritten?
No. A rotated copy is downloaded.
